Strategic planning – Cultural and sports policies – Interactions between culture and other sectors
Jorma Sarv is a member of board and partner at Creativity Lab.
Jorma has a varied experience in the fields of strategic planning, culture, creative industries and sports. He is also very keen on the connections culture has with other sectors, exploring cultural management models and practices as well as analyzing various project management tools. He has also regularly conducted trainings with organizational and management tools in focus.
In 2007-2013 Jorma worked at the Estonian Ministry of Culture where he was responsible for strategic planning, creative industries policies and a number of development projects or studies.
Jorma has been a member of European Union expert group on cultural and creative sectors. Among other international think-thanks and discussions he has also contributed to the work of ESSnet Culture statistics working group (in cooperation with Eurostat) and was a member of Steering Committee of Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture.
Jorma has been a member of Board of Directors of several Estonian culture institutions. He has consulted various state institutions, civil society initiatives and other organizations. Jorma was in 2011-2013 Estonian representative at the Conference of the Parties and Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO 2005 convention.
Until 2019, Jorma worked as a Head of the International Programme dedicated to the centenary of the Republic of Estonia. Jorma is also involved with Estonian Business School lectures in Tallinn and Helsinki where he conducts workshops on Project Management.
